We use Blum which is the best in the market for soft close drawer slides. These make for a clean and soft close every time.
We use Blum for all cabinet doors. A lot of companies use them just on the upper or lower cabinets, but use them on all cabinet doors.
With all of our cabinet hardware they are able to be adjusted in all directions to make sure they all line up perfectly every time. Soft close to make sure never slam close. Blum will replace if there is ever an issue, but in the years working for them we have never had to warranty an out.
All of our cabinets are made out of domestic maple plywood or birch plywood. This is for every cabinet that we build, no substitutes.
Every drawer box that we make comes with dovetailed drawer boxes for a tighter and lasting box. You will see a lot of cabinet makers have this as an option. This makes for a stronger box so that it does not matter how heavy or what is put in them they will always be able to handle it.
To make a stronger cabinet we glue and pocket screw all of our cabinet’s boxes during construction. We also pocket screw and glue the face frames to the cabinet boxes. This makes sure they cannot work there way loose at any time. A lot of companies with just nail them on.
When we first were setting up our shop, we spoke with several contractors to see what is their biggest issue with their current cabinet guys and most of them said the finish. So, we knew to set us apart for the rest we needed to make that a top priority. We research different paint companies and found a company using and Italian paint which had great reviews. The owner has been in the paint business for over 40 years. We went and met with other company’s using this product before agreeing to work with them and everyone said they loved it. We use their lacquer paint and primer exclusively with all our cabinets. There are a lot of companies out there using water-based paint which will break down after time with being wiped down, spills or other ways the paint is met with water, lacquer will not in the same situations of being in contact with water.
We install all cabinets that we build. Since we created the cabinets and made them specifically for home, we feel we should be the ones to do the installation. We like to even have the appliances there if possible, to make sure all spec match so they fit just how they are designed to be placed. This also make sure every detail is completed for your home.
